I våras tog sig Alvaro Estrella tillsammans med Mendez och låten ”Vamos Amigos” hela vägen till Melodifestivalens final. 2014 gjorde han debut i tävlingen som artist med bidraget ”Bedroom”. Men redan innan det var han ett bekant ansikte i Melodifestivalen och Eurovision, då han dansat och körat bakom bland andra Danny Saucedo och Eric Saade.
Utanför Melloscenen har Alvaro medverkat i flera musikaler, däribland ”West Side Story” på Malmö Operan, och i Jerry Williams show ”Dynamite”.

Last Spring, Alvaro Estrella and Mendez took the song ”Vamos Amigos” all the way to the Melodifestivalen final. In 2014, Alvaro first took part in the contest as an artist, with the entry ”Bedroom”. But already before that, he was a known face in Melodifestivalen and Eurovision, since he had been dancing and providing backing vocals for Danny Saucedo, Eric Saade and many others.
Outside of the stage of Melodifestivalen, Alvaro has taken part in several musicals, for example ”West Side Story” at the Malmö Opera, and in the Jerry Williams show ”Dynamite”.

• Other: Alvaro has a magnificent result as a dancer and backing vocalist. He has achieved one second place in Melodifestivalen, and one second place, two third places and one fifth place in Eurovision in his five international participations. Alvaro joined the backing singer and dance crew of Eric Saade in 2011, and jumped onto one of Robin Bengtsson's treadmills for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, and the year before that, he provided dance and backing vocals for Russia's Sergey Lazarev at the Stockholm Eurovision Song Contest. The songwriting trio Linnea Deb, Jimmy Thörnfeldt and Anderz Wrethov have been productive in the lead-up to the 2021 Melodifestivalen. They are taking part together with three entries: ”Baila Baila” (Alvaro Estrella), ”One Touch” (Kadiatou) and ”Voices” (Tusse). On top of this, Linnea Deb and Jimmy Thörnfeldt are taking part with ”Every Minute” (Eric Saade), while Thörnfeldt and Wrethov have been joining forces in ”Om allting skiter sig” (Emil Assergård).
